Behold the power of prayer...
So I was surfing the net, and I came across a couple of prayers that I really liked... I thought I would share them.
Show me the course
Steer the ship of my life, good Lord, to your quiet harbour, where I can be safe from the storms of sin and conflict. Show me the course I should take. Renew in me the gift of discernment, so that I can always see the right direction in which I should go. And give me the strength and the courage to choose the right course, even when the sea is rough and the waves are high, knowing that through enduring hardship and danger in your name we shall find comfort and peace.
Basil of Caesarea

Prayer for Trust in Jesus
O Christ Jesus,
when all is darkness
and we feel our weakness and helplessness,
give us the sense of Your presence,
Your love, and Your strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
in Your protecting love
and strengthening power,
so that nothing may frighten or worry us,
for, living close to You,
we shall see Your hand,
Your purpose, Your will through all things.
St. Ignatius of Loyola
So then I continued my online searching and came upon American Catholic.org, and I found out that Today is the 450th anniversary of the death of St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Jesuits. His spirituality continues to enliven the Church, especially through retreats and educational institutions. Click here for more info
I have really been enjoying going to church on Sundays. I had not realized just how much I missed it.
I am still doing well in my classes. Got 98 on my second test in crim... two 98's are not bad! and a 97 on last weeks paper for my psych class and a 100 on this weeks! This week is going to be really busy, I have a paper due Wednesday, and a powerpoint presentation to put together by then too, on a different topic.
I had my MRI last Wednesday that was a mess... took forever! Anywho they got the results back, so I have an appointment for this wednesday... I am not sure what I will find out, I guess if I need surgery or not, and get a referal to an Orthopedic surgeon. I may ask for your prayers if that is the case.
anywho catch you guys later... got to get back to lab stuff.

Hey there! I was doing a search on St.Ignatius of Loyola yesterday too because I found his name on my calendar and realised that it was his anniversary of death. His life was very inspiring. I like the first prayer alot and will pray for your health also.
Great scores in school, your studies will be keeping you a very busy girl i'm sure!
MRI's can be so annoying I remember trying to be still for ages, I just wanted to yell out "will you please move it!" and "oh I accidently moved does that mean we have to start again?" I'm not a very good patient.
Take care!
